Greetings to all Kiwanians in Division 8,
The month of February is nearing the mid-point as I write this to you.
Much has and continues to occur in our division and in the Cal-Nev-Ha District, with new members coming into our clubs division wide as well as fundraisers each week.
I attended the Fairfield and Napa Crab-feeds which were well attended and funds raised to assist the local programs for children and other projects in the community. Yountville and St. Helena also were very active in local fund-raising programs ( Yountville with a very success crab-feed and St. Helena with their Naked Vine Wine Auction.
American Canyon will have a crab-feed on March 6 and Vallejo Maritime will be involved in their Fish Fry to raise money to fund projects in the local community.
If you have an event please submit to Greg Elwell and he will link to our official site
(www.kiwanisdiv8.org ) . If you do this than all members can keep up to date on division wide activities.
Remember Feb. 18 th for our next DCM in Fairfield and March 6 for the Mid-Winter Conference in San Jose.

The True Secret Of Greatness:
1Approach each critical task with the explicit goal of getting much better at it.
2.As you do the task, increase your concentration and focus on improving your performance.
3. After the task, get feedback on your performance.
4. Continually build mental models.
5. Do these steps regularly

Remember without enthusiasm very little can be accompancy.
Always foster the attitude, Let's fix the problem not place the blame.
All the best in the Kiwanian spirit,
